That's what "FSR factory special run" means. Any dealer can order an exclusive batch of guitars with minor modifications. Different pickups, different pickguards, things like that.

As far as I can tell, that's just a normal Mexican HSS with black pickguard and knobs.

Not clear what they mean by "gray hardware" since it seems like all the metal bits are normal chrome?

Hey thank you, strayedstrater, kinda what I thought.
Mostly wondered about the "Classic Single Coil" pup.
Not a whole lot of info out there one these.
This would be a nice mate to my Black and Maple 2010 MIM Jazz Bass, also black pick gaurd

In their description, they didn't capitalize "Classic single-coil pickups" so they probably aren't the Alnico V pickups from the Classic Series.

Most likely, if the pickups were upgraded they would have listed the exact models in the description. And charged a bit more than the normal price. (Different colored plastic parts are a no-charge direct substitution from Fender.)

By "classic single-coils" they probably just mean normal output, non noise canceling, regular ol' MIM STD ceramic single-coils. (In marketing-speak, they tend to say "vintage-style" for Alnico pickups.)

But probably best to call or email them and ask for specifics.

Thank You again, sir.
I was guessing probably the same thing, that they are ceramic.
Along with the capitol C, no copyright after the description.
