I just bought a 1993 Areodyne Stratocaster. I love this guitar. Can anyone tell me when this guitar was first made and where. Mine DOES NOT have a pickguard and the output jack is on the side of the guitar. This is my third strat. I also have two Jaguars, one american and one Japanese. Thanks, Dick Loverock

The Aerodyne series was/is made in Japan, but not in 1993.
The first version Aerodyne Strat in 2004 had the pickguard and a 'regular Strat type' output jack.
The 'no pg, side mounted output jack' version came in 2005.
The series had a Strat (in several versions, including a shorter scale), a Telecaster and a Jazz Bass, which is still in production.

So, you either have a Crafted in Japan guitar from (about, there is some overlapping) 2005-2007, or the second run Made in Japan guitar from 2007 or later.

There was also a PJ Bass Special with a Jazz neck and flamed maple top over a basswood body which was produced between 2006 and 2008. It came in natural, crimson and blue transparent.
