I just purchased a set of Fender NIB Fat 50's Pickups and received two blue dot pickups and one middle yellow wire RWRP pickup. They all are around 6.3-6.7 Ohms.

does this sound correct? shouldn't there be a Red dot pickup for the bridge?

Not ohms , thousand ohms , you read 6,3 K Ohms

How are the bevels?
What about the stagger?
Do they have the cloth wire?
What color is the coil?
Do they in general look like Fender-US-made pickups should?
(= Pics, please.)

The (red/blue) dot is the rule, but I wouldn't doom pups fake just because of a lacking one.
The only thing I can say so far is, the DCR readings seem to be in the right ballpark, with st52's kilo-correction.

the only thing suspicious is the blue smear of paint of on both pickups with Black/white cloth wire

The bevels are good on the outside pickups but the middle is not beveled much at all

The real discovery is when I wired them up and positions 2 and 4 are tinny and about half volume as if they are truly " out of phase" this leads me to suspect that the middle pickup has the wrong orientation.
The poles seem correct but the wires could still be wired on the wrong eyelets which may account for this ????

after some study---it looks like the RWRP is only reverse pole and not reverse wound....
All three pickups are wound counterclockwise beginning with the black wire.
the middle polarity is NORTH up and the other two are SOUTH up

I will need to reverse the middle pup connections to correct the factory error

That was it ! the middle wires were not correct so I attached the black to the switch and the yellow to ground.

They sound great now and will stay in the guitar.

Neck pickup has blue mark, and the bridge has red. The middle pickup has a darker yellow hot lead for rwrp.

Did you read the other topic - link above in my post.
Expect the unexpected with Fender.

I still don't know what the pickups of this topic are - too little info.
But: the sound of a pickup set always comes before the origin.
