Ok so I have a 93 MIA strat. What I really want (like most of us) is an early 60's. I would kill for a 63 but who has 25k? Now I know I can't turn my 93 into a 63, but how close can I get to the sound? I am going to replace the pickups with the True Vintage Van Zandts. My neck also needs a refret so I'm not sure if I should just get a reissue neck or just go with a refret. I like the feel of the 60's neck better. Should I just get a relic or a reissue because of all the hassle? Is that too many questions? Why is the sky bule?

I also have a 93 MiA strat. :)
I think u will get very close to the sound u seek by electronics alone.
On the other hand the reissue sounds right up your alley.
Personally I see no reason for u to desire the Relic strat...
Why pay for age? Last time I checked getting old happens for free lol

When u say u like the feel of the vintage neck better...
Are you also saying that u prefer 21 frets rather than 22?

You should buy the 1962 American Vintage reissue. Thats about as close as you can get to a 1960's strat outside the Custom Shop.
