Hi from Barcelona guys! I’ve recently bought a set of Antiquities Texas Hot from Seymour Duncan to replace my N4s which I thought they sounded OK, but not as great as those duncans. I want to install them today, but I found that the N4s have 3 cables (2 + ground) coming out of the pickup, while the others only have 2 (1 + ground). Does someone have any idea or schematics that can help me to install those considering the S1 switching?
Thanks!!!

Wow, why has this question been unanswered for this long..? (If I were a gambling man, I'd bet the OP had an answer on some other forum.)

Anyways, here's the link: American Elite Stratocaster 011400XXXX Diagram

As far as I understand that (and I'm absolutely no wiring guru):
The red/blue/white are the hot (+) wires, the greens are the "real" ground, the blacks are the (-) side of the coils.

The complicated part is, the blacks from the middle and neck pickups go through the S1 switch - that seems to be for the series/parallel gimmicks.

So, the really helpful answer would need a bit more from the OP: what do you want the wiring (S1 especially) to do?

BTW, I checked my flash drive storage of Fender diagrams; seems the S1 is always combined with three wire pickups on Strats.

I first logged in around the same time. Probably due to NAMM, I think it took close to 2 weeks before I cleared moderation.
I've not seen this post before today, even on "Unanswered Posts", thinking OP may have been overlooked on new user activations.

Must have been a real deep sleep, I usually check the unanswered posts. Your answer to this topic was so loud it woke me up, thanks.

Anyways, I googled a little and like I guessed the OP got some answers at https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index ... r.1910156/

But the grounds-(or minus leads)-via-the-S1-or-straight-to-ground isn't solved there, either. And the OP's last sign-in here was on Feb 6th.

I've noticed this delay a lot lately. No wonder the Fender forums are dead. There doesn't seem to be any interest anymore and this is part of the problem.
