I went into my local music store today to purchase some miscellaneous items.... in doing so, I saw this stain finish vintage blond Strat with a Crue Fest logo on the body... I found no harm in fiddling with with this Strat and much to my delight I fell in love with the instrument.. great feel and great sound... I decided to purchase it at a steal for at $324.... However I was unable to find any information on the internet regarding this Strat...can anyone help me with the specs or provide me with a link to information on this Strat?

Cool, nice price how bout a picture?
Not much info other than Motley Crue started "Crue Fest" in 2008 and it has happened through 2017 to raise money for different people or charities.
One photo comes up on googgle, oly-white w/out a pick guard, s-s-s route, rosewood fretboard, Crue Fest decal on the upper front behind the bridge. Mick Mars signature.

Apologies for an amateur question, how do I upload a pic? I've only used this forum for product support, I am not familiar with how to post a pic... would be my pleasure to do so..

Well its fairly simple,
1. upload picture to a photo hosting site, I use flickr.com https://www.flickr.com/, you'll have to sign up if you don't already have an account w/ a photo hosting site.
Follow the instructions for uploading, the result once uploaded will be an internet address file name which is required to post pictures here. Then share the photo using the BBC code(filename address) right click and copy.
2. On the post a reply page here in the forum use(left click) the IMG box to insert the picture's BBC code wherever your cursor is in the text area but between the [img] insert here [img] code area.
3. Use preview to ensure the picture shows up as a picture.
4. Generally smaller picture sizes are better in the forum, for example 640x480.
Some sites are easier to work with than others as far as uploading, sharing, etc.
for example here is a photo from flickr:

And here is what an address should look like(minus the last character (bracket) in the address:
[img]https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4754/39038608755_b39e5b3cc0_z.jpg[/img
If you use flickr, you will have to (delete) a portion of the BBC code after inserting it here. Unless you want your personal info listed here below the photo.

You can do the same if you use FarceBook. Just upload the picture into a post, or gallery, and then right click over the picture to get "Copy image address".

I am dying to see what this thing is ... Likely, you made a killing on this if it is a real Fender. And if it is some real "limited whatever" (from Fender or whoever) then so much the better. Waiting on pics...

Well since I waited a while w/o a response, I researched and found this. I haven't checked out this auction house but the pics are there. Interesting amount of signed instruments and such, worth a few minutes of time if you have a few available.
