Thanks in advance for any input.

I say the whole series of Classic Mex are with these pickups.
Classic Players have specific microphones ,Custom 69 pour les 60s, 57/62 pour les 50s.

The pole piece stagger is consistent with the current Texas Specials and other "Vintage Staggered" OEM pickups (B is "too low"), but of course, many aftermarket pickups mimic this.

Most telling is the silver felt marker, L31/L32/L33... that would not be on aftermarket pickups, and would be unlikely to be written by the previous owner when they (poorly) shielded the pickguard.... would probably have just used N/M/B. This likely reflects some kind of reference on the production line. There is an outside chance that they could be the result of "matching" of some characteristic on aftermarket pickups, but that wouldn't be done on "cheap" pickups, and I would expect to see a manufacturer's name on the bottom of a higher end pickup like a Duncan or DiMarzio.

The wiring looks original with no evidence of desoldering/resoldering, no "oddball" wire colors, etc....

The shielding job could have been done better, and I'm curious what the body cavities look like. It was obviously done without removing the pickups or the switch/pots evidenced by the gaps. Honestly, I would drop the parts out of that PG, remove the copper tape, and glue a sheet of aluminum foil to the entire PG, then trim the openings.
Also, when it was reassembled, that black wire between the switch and the wiper on the middle tone pot was crushed between the body and PG.... tuck that baby back in between the switch and volume pot before remounting the PG.

IF the pickups were changed, looking at the soldering, they were not done by the same person who did the shielding.

My apologies if you did the shielding ;)

Thank you for your reply CB91710,
I didn't take any pictures of the body cavity but I can tell you it is routed for 3 single coils not the large rout and also has the copper tape.
It was the L31-L32-L33 on the pick-ups that made me ak the question in the first place.
