A few months back I bought a mid-90s Strat Plus, but recently emailed Fender about the SN and found that the neck is actually from a Strat Plus Deluxe. This is both good and bad....

I'm guessing a neck swap was done with another guitar at some point because everything on the body is correct for a regular Plus.
So I'm missing: the correct body in Antique Burst , pearloid pickguard and backplate, the blue, silver, red Lace pickups, and that Fender-Floyd bridge. Oh, and a Deluxe HSC.

Yes, I paid too much for this 'partscaster' ). I should've checked that SN on the Fender website first but didn't know about that at the time.

If I got everything back to original, would it be worth it? Does it matter much at this point?? I'm thinking that an Antique Burst (with the veneered body) Plus Deluxe is not a high demand Strat?

I like the guitar which is why I bought it, but I'd prefer white so maybe now I can change out the body. Maybe get the correct Lace pickups? I also don't like pearloid, so I already have the PG I prefer, and I really like regular Fender 2-point bridge.

So I guess I'm asking what's a Plus Deluxe worth that's had the body, trem and PG swapped out but otherwise on-spec? :-)
