Hi, Sufi. You have two topics about Strat trems (the other is here: https://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php ... 1#p1206351), but you don't tell much about what's the problem.
Without enough background, the advice you get can be anything.

So far the best advice I can give, based on your questions and not knowing anything else about your skill level: let a good pro do the required mods/repairs.

And @st52, the usual two post trem post-to-post distance is 56 mm, not 54 as in your VS-100 link...

Post to post is pretty easy to establish - just measure the trem.

The critical distance from the neck pocket to the posts would be somewhat more tricky but you could use a pick guard as a template as the edge of the trem should be just shy of the edge of the guard - simples.

Why Stew Mac write ? ;

This tremolo fits American Standard Strat® and Strat Plus guitars without modifications

Probably because that trem has one 'round', one 'oval' hole for the studs; there's enough tolerance - but on some sites, the given measure for the VS-100 is 56,8mm...

I'll do some tests with few drills on scrap wood if you don't receive good answer.

All answers are good - some right, some wrong but anyways...

I remembered a forum topic where Ceri had some pics which relate to this, but the photobucket policy renewal had destroyed them.
Luckily, I found this with some googling: http://archive.is/9pmng
Don't know if p-bucket can find a way to destroy that, too, so if that page seems useful to anyone, maybe print it out.

Dare I say - same as the old holes?! :)
Are you trying to cure wonky bridge studs, caused by string tension pulling the bridge towards the neck? I've posted a few times about that, having had it on two 90's Strats. If you just want to drill/dowel/redrill for the inserts to straighten them up, I've found one way is to lay the bridge baseplate on the body, suitably centred on, and spaced from, the scratchplate (matchsticks will often do it), and mark the hole position using the baseplate itself. However, if the body's cracked between the post and trem rout, you may find this won't be a permanent cure, no matter how accurately you drill, how hard the dowel is, or how good the glue is.

Not knowing if this is your problem, I'll leave it at that!

Cheers - Peter.
