Hello guys. I'm in need of your knowledge. A guy posted an online ad for a Strat, and I want to know if it's the real deal. He did a lot of crazy mods on it, but I'm only interested for the body and neck anyway. There are some things that popped in my eye:
- the serial number in starting with N, which makes it a 1998-1999 guitar ( or maybe an early '90s ... the whole serial number mix)
- I dd some research but that spaghetti logo doesn't appear anywhere on those years
- the tuners look like 1998-1999, the saddles also, but the bridge has 6 screw holes
- it has no trussrod cover, which should indicate a '60s reissue, but again with that logo and serial placement...
- the tuner bushings seem wrong
Can you tell me more about this guitar? I know it's hard to tell with all that mumbo jumbo on it...
Thank you.

I don't like decals , it could be a fake Fender.

I don't think there is any "could be" about it. I'd put that down as 100% fake....and having it "put down" would be the kindest thing for all concerned.

The funny thing is it was declared as a fake the last time it was posted on the forum so I'm not quite seeing the point of asking again.
