The https://www.fender.com/product-registra ... ial-search page gives this for your serial number: "AM STRATOCASTER RW CRD".

So, it's American (Series) Strat with a rosewood fretboard, and used to be Candy Apple Red.
Supposedly - a serial number alone is never a proof of legitimity, let alone originality.
BTW, can't get why they call the color CRD here, everyone knows it's CAR...

And a hint to Fender: it would be fantastic if a serial number would also bring back the original specs and a link to the service diagram.

You're welcome, even though the thanks should actually go to Fender's search engine & people responsible for it.
If you need the full specs, email Fender's Consumer Relations (via the support section) with the serial.
Anyways, here's the American Stratocaster 0117400/7402 Service Diagram

I understood it was repainted to something non-red, since you asked if the 'original color was red' - my bad, totally.
And another bad, even worse; old age (or something) made me forget about CRD as in Chrome Red...
