Hi.

Does anyone know the exact measurement of the thickness or depth (first fret - fretboard to back of neck) of the"soft V" neck on the Classic Player 50s Strat?

I have a Classic Player 50s Baja Telecaster and love the neck. I'd like to look into the Strat version. The nut width is a little wider on the Strat and I'm okay with that. It's the thickness i'm really interested and some of the measurements I've found on-line are contradictory.

There is no in-stock product in any of the stores near me.

Thanks

If you mean the Classic Series 50's Stratocaster, 22,5mm @1st fret would be close, tolerances considered.

To be honest, IMHO that (or any) measure doesn't help you at all, Teles and Strats or their necks aren't 1:1...
Find a specimen to play - you can always utilize the no questions asked return policy of many web shops.

No, I mean Classic Player 50s Strat. The thickness may be the same (albeit with a different radius) as the Classic Series 50s neck, but I don't know. I'd like to know, if possible, before I order.

OK. On internet pravda, the CP50's neck is thinner than a Baja neck, but that's again a piece of useless info.
Maybe try contacting Fender Consumer Relations..?

An accurate, reliable measurement of the thickness of the CP50s neck is not useless to me,which is why I asked if anyone happened to know what it is. If I have to order something sight unseen I'd like to zero in as much as I can to what I'm looking for. If it turns out to be unsatisfactory, so be it.

I’m not sure how that compares to the CP 50s but any info is helpful. Thanks.
