Hi all just wanted to say I picked up a 2008 60's sunburst
Road worn . And I absolutely love it I can't put it down.
Is it because of the feel or the 60s neck the nitro finish
Or the 7.25 radius board. Now I own an American
Standard 2016 and Mexican maple board strat and several Gibsons but this thing has won me over. I even
Played a 4000 dollar custom shop relic that didn't feel as good??? With that said I struggled for years to find a guitar that just felt right for me and this might be it.
The only thing I would ever consider changing would possible be the pick ups to vintage ones.
Please don't say pic or it didn't happen . I'm too F$&ken
Old for child comments like that I own 7 guitars
Thanks thought Id share that . Wondering if anyone else has had the same experience ?
Cheers
DJ

I own 10, if you include a bass. Is that better of worse?

My reference suggests 60's Road Worns didn't come out until 2009. Either way I love mine.

Pic posting problems, again...
It's a bit tricky on Fender forums, and Nutter's instructions (which I often linked to) are outdated...

Anyway:
Upload the pic(s) to the web - either to a pic hosting site (like imgur, flickr etc; avoid photobucket) or a facebook/googlephotos-type structure that lets you upload pics.
Then find and copy the image web address; starts with http and ends up in .jpg - some services show it straight, on some you need to right click the pic and check 'properties' or open the pic in a new window.
Then, use the IMG-command (which you see when you write a message to the forum), and paste the image address between brackets. Use the preview button to see if the message is as it should.

Pics, or it didn't happen, is the truth around here. Have fun with your make-believe guitar.

Harsh

To get pictures on to this forum they first need to be logged on the web somewhere so that you can reference them. This forum doesn't provide the facility to upload images as some do.

While I have my own domain I have found, to my cost, lodging images there and then linking to them on a forum can quickly exceed my bandwidth allowance. As a result I tend to put pictures on Facebook and link to them there. I assume similar can be achieved with other social media sites.

Hi Bongo. I'm not very computer savvy. I only opened a Facebook a/c out of what you might call interest. I never use it as it's intended; it has fictitious details and no 'friends' or anything like that. It's basically dormant! But I found it very easy to put a couple of photos on it, including the one above.

If you can put a photo on Facebook (by following the onscreen instructions on the first FB page you come to), click on it to make it bigger, then right click and select 'copy image address'. Then paste that between the IMG brackets on this forum. And that's it.

I assume the downside of FB is that others can now see the Strat pics I've put on there. But there's nothing to identify me personally, so I suppose that's safe enough...?

Mind you, I've been using Photobucket and haven't had any problems so far. But trying out John's solution gives me an option which I may continue with...

Cheers - Peter.

DJ,
Will be waiting to see your cool axe... :) I wish I'd bought that expensive wreck at the guitar center a couple months ago... :)

Peter,
That is one great looking guitar. Cool as Buck Owens. So many nice features!

Carl
