I have a Tascam and Boss tuner can any of these measure the first octive at the 12 th fret let's say open is 110 hz and the 12 th fret is 220 hz which is an octive can I use the above tuners to read the octive notes at the twelth fret?
Thanks

You don't tell the models...
But the short answer is yes.
Just check that the tuner is set for standard tuning and if there's a reference (usually reference A at 440 Hz), it's set according to the manual. Then tune the open string, and compare it to the 12th fret note.
And you can do control checks by comparing other frts, for example 2nd to 14th etc.

And BTW, don't trust machines blindly, use your ears a) too and b) mainly.

Make sure the batteries are good or you're using AC too.
