Hi, This is my second Fender project made only with genuine parts.

I was checking all I bought and how to proceed properly for the assembly of the guitar and I noticed I have... no tremolo bridge.

I don't know which one I should buy. I'm not even talking about a color choice, but I'm lost between the 57', the 62', the vintage and mexican stuffs !

All advices are welcome :) Lady is waiting quietly ;)

Two pictures to show the 'thing'

You need a modern 2 post trem.

That's a vintage (six screws) trem, it doesn't fit an AmStd Strat post-2008 models. And that number is for a right hand model...

You need the modern = two post, LEFT hand version.
AmStd 2012 Service Diagram gives the part number 0075092000; but that's just the brigde assy without the arm etc.. The part number for a complete tremolo is 0075092049 (or 007-5092-049, as some sellers write it).

Oh, man, you got lots of projects going on, the Tele, Mustang and now this one...

That Mystic Blue looks VERY similar to the Ocean Blue Metallic! Nice, whatever!

Cheers - Peter.

Thanks for noticing I was looking for the wrong part

I think I found a place to purchase the part.
This shop in the USA also have part that does look similar but the naming is diferent, it's called Deluxe.

Is it like for burger menu name here in France at McDonald's ? You got the deluxe for x extra bucks but in the end, you still have the same t*rd to eat but the quantity and the appearance of the dish is the same.

I'm shared between building a "basic" American Standard lefty Stratocaster preferably only with Fender USA parts but if Deluxe can fit on it and there is a "plus", I can order it.

The Deluxe uses a block saddle which I originally prefered but I have now moved to the bent steel saddles.

There was an issue a bit back with the spacing of the posts on a two post trem. Mexican two posts wouldn't fit American two posts but I think they are now interchangeable on later guitars.

I haven't got any preference right now between bent steel saddles and block saddles.
Too early for me to make this choice and above all, only practicing and playing will help to find my own style and prefered hardware.

For the tremolo choice if a deluxe is available I will go for it otherwise I'll stick to the standard one.

...And the part number for an AmDlx Lefty Strat tremolo unit is 0055318049 (darrenriley, complete assembly), or 0077093000 (Service Diagram 2010 - might be complete or just the bridge assy)...

And it's bent steel vs block saddles, centered vs off-center intonation screws, screw-in or pop-in trem arm (which also means a bit different trem blocks).

Let's go for the Deluxe tremolox with tutti quanti ricambi per la chittara
I need to maximize the shipping to and order extra things. Too bad he has got any gold lefty stratocaster pickguard :'( They looked beautiful

It has only just occurred to me how desperately untidy the logos look on a cack handed Strat neck.

Just look at your guitars & logos in the mirror, that's a great equalizer.

for my personal Fender culture what does cacked mean ? something like reverse or odd ?

The neck installed is a brand new MIM but I'm still looking for a USA product, brand new or not but not a toothpick
