Apologies in advance if this is a well-aired topic. Have been searching on the forums, but not even sure what topic or heading to look for :-(

I know I will need to open it up and take a look, but I haven't had a chance as yet, since it happened so recently. Hopefully it will just be the input jack. What I don't know, is what to look for if it isn't that, and how to go about looking. Any and all tips much appreciated.

For it to be fine one day and like that the next certainly points to a dodgy jack socket.

Undo the two screws and have a look. If it is the culprit it will be obvious and much quicker and easier than producing a YouTube video

Sounds like an open ground to me.
Output jack
Volume pot
Pups
Trem Claw
Check all the grounds.

Yeah since it appears to be an issue in every position check the wires to the output jack since this is the easiest first however the other likely suspects as mentioned could be a wire off on the vol pot, the pot itself or the wire from the switch to the pot. There are other possibilities.
The latter checks will require you to lift the guard and so if you are not familiar with this process get someone with some knowledge to help or take clear photos of the area and post here.
Even then if not obvious you will need a multimeter. :D

I finally got the time this morning to lift the socket cover to find, as you all suspected a broken solder joint. The reason it had broken was that the securing nut had worked loose, so allowing the socket to swivel round and break the joint. A couple of minutes with a soldering iron and the problem was fixed!
And then the other wire fell off... :-)

Thank you all once again for taking the time to look through my video, and for so kindly taking the trouble to respond.
