I saw a traded in mustang in really good condition at my local shop and I'm wondering how much it would be worth.
I didn't get a close look at the serial code but it's located on the (large cbs) headstock. It's walnut with no stripes on the upper cutaway and has a black pickguard with black control knobs and pickup covers. It also has a rosewood fingerboard.
Excuse my vague description but from that little information can anyone suggest what year(s) it could possibly have been made in and also a suitable price. Also is the price likely to rise as it gets older like the vintage strats?
Thanks :)

Are you sure it is not a reissue ?
Which years is it , Serial number ?
Price raise with years ? Who know, but you must have a deal now.

You are in the wrong section, you may post in Other Guitars, not stratocaster

Sorry I'm new to this website, how do change the section? Also I'm sure it's not a reissue as they don't come in walnut.

+1

Read the heading for each of the forum's sections and post accordingly.
