Fender doesn't sell guitars to anyone. They distribute their guitars to retailers who sell them. Are there any official Fender dealers in Russia?

The internet retailers in the US (and Europe) probably don't want the potential trouble involved with trying to sell and ship items to Russia.

Sorry, what a sad situation for you.

It Is Got that Fender Company Discrimination the buyers from russia! I funny from this! The Free country USA but guitars to sell in russia on direct does not want. The Official dealers do on the price накрутки because of which nor who can not buy usual (not delux, not vintage) Stratocaster. I am a hot fan of the guitar FENDER SANDART STRATOCASTER, but I розачарован the policy FENDER COMPANY regrettably. Why I normal person can not buy the guitar FENDER on the price of the producer? Why I must overpay?

:)

Anyways, no one can really answer your question (unfortunetly).
We are not part, nor are we affiliated to Fender in anyway. (except the odd one here and there).
You could view this the same way we would if we were purchasing a product from oversea. We also need to pay a premium.
Fender does have a russian site: http://www.fender.ru/ ?
peace, love, p.

Did keyman say fender discriminates?
Sorry, I am having trouble reading what he is actually saying...
Maybe it has nothing to do with Fender...
That information is way beyond my knowledge for sure.

Maybe he can buy a new strat from somewhere else other than the USA?

I've seen posts from time to time, about the high import taxes that some countries have. Perhaps that could be the reason they cost more in other countries.

Ebay in most European countries is full of shops selling brand new Fenders at good prices - often the same prices as internet sellers in America. Many of them ship internationally. Look there first.

Or go to Google in Britain (www.google.co.uk), France, Germany or other countries and search for shops that sell Fenders and will ship. Again, the prices are usually good for the regular stock items.

For example, in Germany there is Thomann - http://www.thomann.de/gb/index.html - they ship all over Europe, so maybe to Russia, too.

Lastly: I think you may find it is your government that makes problems for foreign companies that want to do business in Russia, rather than discrimination by those companies. Fender would like to sell even more guitars, after all!

It so happens my wife owns a company and does business all over the world. She has a Russian employee and also speaks good Russian herself - yet it is one country she finds it very difficult to do business with. Many restrictions, tariffs, official barriers...

Talk to your government...

Dosvidanya - C

EDIT: Hold on a minute - I just clicked that "International" button in the top right corner and found... http://www.fender.ru/ . Have you given that a try? Dosvidanya, galubchic...

Thomann does ship worldwide, including Russia, including their 30-day return and three year warranty policies.

I think the bottom line is the Beauracracy of all Nations. Im sure Fender would love to sell to everyone everywhere if it could but then again keep in mind as was posted by another member, Fender doesnt sell but their dealers do. Look at it this way. I cannot but if I could, a full automatic AK47 would cost me a fortune. I cannot get an AK cheap and you cannot get a Fender cheap. Beauracracy.
