White body and neck seem to be original. American Vintage serial number.

I'm guessing the humbucker was added later.

Thinking the tuners were swapped also (could be wrong ) Any ideas. I don't have the eyes some you guys do for the details

It's probably a Squier with a fake decal.
Dot marker spacing at the 12th is suspect.
Equally suspect is the access for the truss rod (which is on the photo you removed for some reason).
Allparts string trees too.

Fake neck plates are easily obtained on Fleabay and the like.

+1

The narrow-spaced bridge is incorrect for any type of vintage re-issue.

Way too many issues for my liking.

If it was only the PUP that didn't tie up with the Serial Number but then if it was an AV the body would have been modified to accommodate the PUP so still not ideal. But nothing about it suggests it is an AV to me.

Walk away.

Yes, definitely a fake neck, but the narrow spacing of the 12th fret dots are correct for a pre 2008 reissue. They did get the spacing correct starting in 2008, like the originals spacing. Oddly enough, the Japanese reissues had the dot spacing correct to begin with.
