Thank you. This is so fun. I'm looking at the 1965-66 catalogue that I wore out when I was in my fourteens. Brings back a lot of memories.

Indeed it does!

I'm fortunate in that all of my vintage catalogs (Fender, Gibson, Sunn, Kustom, JBL) were saved by my brother from certain death after I was drafted and our neatnik mother threw out most of my treasured stuff.

However my collection of Zap Comix did not fare so well -- all are now compost in a local landfill.

I have some too. I remember the old days, you write to any company and they send you some catatalog for free.

Fender archives on forum have always some new stuff.

+1

And most authorized dealers had stacks of them on the counter, free to anyone with interest in the products.

It is a bit depressing that, with todays all digital media, there won't be similar treasuresfrom now in 50 years time as all we have been long erased and never to be rediscovered.

Nice find, stratele52.

It also gives us a faint hope that the older Frontlines which went missing in that one horrible website update (along with many Fender and Squier service diagrams...) might some day return.

BTW, Frontlines 2004 and newer can be found on the net with some digging, 2003 and older can only be bought occasionally as paper copies. I hope that (one bright day) Fender sees the light and scans all of the Frontlines to a searchable .pdf file archive. But I predict that's gonna happen the day after ice skates become a fashion trend in Hades.

Great fun, nice find, thanks for the post. 1968 vibro champ $89.50, my VC is last batch of BFVC in April 1967 cost me $600 a year and a half ago, and the 1969 Super reverb I own was $479.50 I may have paid $350 in 1984

$90 in 1968 = $630 in 2016

And you won't be tossing it into a dumpster three years from now because it broke and Fender doesn't make replacement parts for it anymore.
