shreddin, do you have a link? if you posted one i missed it. sounds cool. i love the idea of no effects, shows the qualities of an amp/guitar for sure.

most of my melodic instrumentals have effects for the space effect, but the rhythm guitars do not. I love nothin more than a good dry rock tone, this is the perfect sound for straight ahead blues.

i posted my stuff on cdbaby recently, it's all instrumental. 2 cd's hope you get to check it out.

Yeah brother, just click the www. link at the bottom of my post and it'll take you to my page. Mike sent me a friend request last night so he must have dug it even though I'm a neo-classical/metal shredder. Obviously I accepted the request because he's a super cool dude and I love his stuff as well as your stuff; AWESOME MAN 8) !!! Do you have a myspace? If you do, then let me know so I can send a friend request. That goes for any of you awesome dudes on this forum. I've never come across ANY forum anywhere with this many talented and serious musicians and the fact that we all play Fenders must say something for the instruments as well. We all have different styles for the most part yet the instrument handles anything that we can throw at it and that's COMPLETELY AMAZING  !!! I've got some more ideas that I'd like to get recorded soon, but first I have to mow the grass tonight and weed-wack :x . Talk back at ya soon bros. ROCK ON!!!

2 days ago I uploaded a new recording on to my ReverbNation page (www.reverbnation.com/themiketexperience)...everything has just...mushroomed...

I've gained several new "fans" and even attained my first "street-teamers" (they have joined the e-mail list, are notified when I upload songs, and help "promote" my "band") from MA (the majority), WA, PA, FL, and even East Yorkshire of the UK!

My listeners count is at an all-time high: 68
Prior to uploading this new recording, my high was 35.

I have achieved 60 "plays" in the last 48 hours, half of which being the new recording, making it my second most played song (#1 is Texas Flood, with 41 plays).

I have also attained 80 visits in the last 2 days, the majority being from here.

All of this has cranked up my rankings: I am now ranked 561st out of roughly 2000 Blues Artists (the majority being "real" bands that, you know, play gigs).

My "band equity" is at an all-time high: 87
It has risen from the low-20s 2 days ago. To put that into perspective, the average among the "real" Blues Artists is roughly 98.
("Band Equity Score (BES) is unique to ReverbNation, and is the closest thing to an 'overall score' for an Artist in terms of their Reach and Influence over Fans")

Thanks everyone for the support =]
