Congrats, you've got the Jazz turned up on that Strat. Sounds like you're enjoying it.

Why? What if a guy can't play one because of that ridiculous switch on the top of the guitar? I'd consider an SG...but the Les Paul can KMA.

Just keep it . because everybody should keep a Les Paul or two handy ! Image

+1

It's a poor carpenter indeed who blames his tools.

We humans are adaptable creatures, with musicians being especially gifted toward that end. If there's a type of guitar that I couldn't acclimate to, I haven't yet encountered it. Some I've found more comfortable than others but all have their place in the six-string world.

Looks great, sounds great. Thanks for the clip. HNGD!

Agreed with Retro that string job was painful to look at.

Image Yes , it was .

Now it's like i need to change the nut . The second open string is buzzing a little. So far, I has put a piece of paper under it, and trying to think about what to do next . So I need to get a new bone nut somewhere . :?

If you're * v e r y * careful, you can wick a small drop of cyanoacrylic cement (aka "Crazy Glue") into the offending nut slot and use the cured adhesive as a shim to slightly raise the string. I've saved many a nut that way.

Oh, it's not about me. It's always easy for me to spoil everything :(

It's not rocket science but if an experienced luthier's skill provides more assurance I can understand.

Image That's for sure . And also , i will always love more a guitar with a new bone than with a repaired one

well , I've just received these two nuts from the post office. I ordered two, because I may accidentally break one of them :) Image
Now I need to find out if they fit my guitar well ☺

A little work with a rasp and a knife and everything got right.
The sound seems to get better . But i don't know in which parameter though Image

Details like that are often difficult to quantify. Maybe it merely *feels* more right.

Maybe ,yes . Well, now I've got another problem. The guitar began to get untuned at the slightest touch of the tremolo . But with an old nut I could play almost as with the floyd . I don't know what to think Image
