That should work. Remember, single coils can be noisy, picking up noise from many sources, such as fluorescent lights and electrical appliances. Pup sets with the RWRP middle pup have the two noise reducing positions, 2 and 4, and should be much quieter in those two positions.

True .. thanks .. the mid is reverse wound ..

The real problem noisemaker was my previously trusty tuner pedal by planet waves .. I think it caught COVFEFE! ..

I'm going put a new Nut on to beat an open string buzz .. maybe Tusq XL ..

Apologies for drawing this out .. I'm staying with friends until my TX digs are ready .. all my written resources .. tools .. etc. aren't readily available ..

The Pups are great though .. very distinctive .. clear & clean tones .. until you apply some gain .. I'm gonna enjoy it .. someday!! :mrgreen:
