Good luck, hope all goes well. I'm sure we'll hear about it one way or the other. :)

I have a little jib that screws in the post hole and gives me the option of drilling 4 differnt type of tuner mounting holes. A must for doing this!

That's what I'm talking about .. I think

is it for "mounting pins" or "screw alignments"? I haven't seen any of the latter ..

and where are they available? If at all .. You could be the inventor Xhefri ..

got any pics?
:)

The stewmac one is nice but spendy. I bought this instead for less:

Thanks .. but If I read it correctly .. the baseplate jig is for post holes only ..

kinda glosses over getting the mounting screws just right ..

unless I'm missing sumthin' ..

This one is an Alignment Pin Jig .. very handy for that precision job ..

as is Chris' StewMac jig for Tuner Post Holes

If one of my screw holes is off It's not time for hari-kari .. but it would be a pita to have to fill & re-drill ..

It's all on hold till I get myself relocated in TX next week ..

Thanks for the suggestions

There appears to be something amiss with the way pix are displaying on the forum.
I know for a fact I truncated this pic to be 5" x 5" before uploading it.
It's displaying like an 8" x 8".
At least on my screen, anyway.

   haha .. Thanks for the encouragement & prodding .. I need a lot of that ..

Starting the tuners meant pretty much meant putting it all together ..

then the planets aligned & I had to prepare to move to TX this weekend

and I found more guitars than anticipated .. amps too .. sooo

I will finish this job within (yet another) 18 days or so ..

thinking about a Push/Pull tone switch for "Bridge On" .. on stock EJ Pups & harness

that is my progress so far

btw .. what did you do with the 18 minutes Chris?
