The guitar looks new enough that Fender most likely has records of its manufacture.
Send the serial number to consumerrelations@fender.com ; they can send you the info on what kind of guitar was built with that serial number. If all seems to fit your guitar, you have the answer.
It would be polite if you share the results here.

In general, the forum needs quite a lot of pics to identify a mystery guitar, especially when trying to spot fakes. At least pics from the front and back, close-ups from headstock both sides, neck heel, pickups, trem. On more difficult ones, inside pics, too - neck end/heel/joint, body routing, wiring, pot codes, pickup bottoms... whatever one can think of, and as large and sharp as possible.
