I'm thinking about picking up this Strat used. I was hoping you could offer some opinions about the guitar. I think it looks like the real deal. Wondering if any of you have played one like it and what you think is a good price. Thanks in advance.

Searched for "Blacktop HSH" on this site and got 150 hits: search.php?keywords=Blacktop+HSH&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search
I believe they've been discontinued for some time (the one in your pic's is a 2013, so I guess it was after that)...only find used ones at eBay and Guitar Center and Reverb....going for $315.00 to $499.99
The original Blacktop Strat was HH, so that HSH may be a modification.

Never owned or played one before, mostly because I'm a SSS guy....but I don't hate them.

P.S.- Looks like the plastic film is still on that pickgaurd, so maybe the single coil is not a modification.

No, there was a HSH model, too.
And the story sort of continues with the 2015 "Standard Stratocaster® HSH" and its "ferocious Blacktop opencoil humbucking pickups" (2015 Frontline description...).

I never really understood what the marketing department whizz kids were trying to accomplish with Blacktops. Like, 'hey, there's a box of leftover guitar parts, let's throw them together'...
The humbuckers ("Blacktop Humbucking Strat pickup") haven't a part number in the service diagram, and on the HH model they're just something in the pickguard assy - not much appreciation from FMIC there. Anyway, they're generic BHK pickups on the hotter side.
Witch hat knobs, whoopee.

But that's a very personal opinion - I'm just not in the Blacktop target group. So, Tim-boSlice, if you're looking for a versatile, metal-oriented Strat, these may be just right for you.
On the price, these should cost whatever a 'normal' MIM Strat, same age/same condition sells for in your part of the world.

I'm fairly sure the Blacktop HSH pickguards were pre-assembled in Korea. The complete assembly has a Fender part number.

The later, Standard HSH at least offers push pull coil splitting for the humbuckers and is fitted with a 'proper' 5 way switch.
