I know what parts you use define what kind of guitar your projects produces, however, does what brand of tremolo bridge really make a difference? And how so? I'm a newbie to anything with a whammy bar, and pretty new to electric as well. So please take it easy on me if this question is marked as stupid. rock on fools.

floyd roses are amazing. They llock the strings so it will almost never go out of tune. You can also bend it every way possible.

Not stupid at all. But say a bit more about what you mean - "what parts you use define what kind of guitar..." You mean in terms of branding? Or in the sense of an S-type, T-type, etc?

Far as branding is concerned, it is a Fender if Fender built it. (But that is an argument we have done quite enough here, recently...!) Is that what you are getting at?

Cheers - C

Start by trying to understand the trem that comes on a strat...
Most tremolos are very similar but there are definately differences.

Ever heard of the tremKing?
This trem has me intrigued although I have never played it...
You can see someone playing it on youtube.
