What's the NOS parts on it?
(If it's a reissue or replica made with all new parts, it's not NOS.)

That's what NOS means (New Old Stock). The Fender Custom Shop builds the guitar as a whole (parts and all) exactly like it was in 1954 using the same materials and tooling with no relicing or aging treatment.

Thanks for the link. It's a beautiful guitar fer sure. I see at the link that there is one significant departure from a build that is exactly as it was in '54 and that would be the 9.5" radius (the 5-position switch as well but they include the 3-position). I have the Heavy Relic '60th Anniversary with that same neck configuration and it feels great. But I believe the American Vintage 60th Anniversary '54 is a more exact repro as it has the original 7.5" radius neck. I'm also impressed that the AV's have the paper and oil cap. I don't know if they use those in the custom shop 60th Anniversary Strats - I haven't pulled the pickguard off of the one I have.

I love the 60th Anniversary Strats and that one is really special.
I bought the MIM because it closely resembles the 57 AVRI I owned and I love the Desert Sand and Gold Pickguard combo. Also suited my budget.
Hope you're enjoying yours.

Crap. Just clicked the link for Musicians' Friend and it shows it in Cherry Sunburst too.
I now have incurable GAS as I cannot afford the £3300 they want for it.
Crap and crap again.
