If it's the one I'm thinking of, it has a natural ash body with vintage alnico pups and is a very decent sounding guitar.

Ceri!!

You better take this one. It's your currency and I think this is trouble.

Doc

Mike!

The only thing made in Mexico worth that kind of British currency, of any good to a musician of my generation is NOT a guitar!! :P

Ha-ha, all right! Well, most unlike me, but I recently bid about £475 on a Beetles Tribute 60s spec Strat in Sonic Blue on UK Ebay - I was the highest bidder but "reserve-not-met". I think that one was MIM, perhaps one of Fender's occasional Europe-only productions.

Couldn't find out from the seller what the reserve was - wondered if I'd snatch a bargain, but I didn't. Perhaps he/she had the notion of picking up £25,000 for it... though I doubt it.

Anyway. That's the most pricy MIM I've come across in my currency recently - or would have been if anyone had bought it.

Er, not too helpful, eh?

Cheers - C
