not so sure about the 68... the 57 strat doesnt come in olympic white cause it wasnt a colour offered back then, so they are trying to stay true to the reissue. what i want to know is why the 62 strat doesnt come in Feista red. i would buy one of those in a heartbeat.

im startin to get the feelin your one of Hendrixs biggest fans. I have to disease to.

I really want them to make a 1968 reissue to, but with a C shape neck! They make a 1968 reissue in the Fender Custom Shop but with a U shape neck and I'm not sure about that.

That's cool, nedeye, but yours isn't ready for a "righty" to play!

That current ST68JH is all ready for the righthanded Jimi Hendrix wannabe.
I see that it comes in Black as well.

Then get that heart beating, man. We were just talking about this on the "Fiesta Red" thread:

http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... hp?t=11114

Fender Japan makes that Fiesta 62 your heart longs for. And more good news: it is available for left-handers, too.

Cheers - C

A local Fender dealer had one of those "righty-lefty's" hanging on his wall for quite some time . Every time I came in he'd try to sell it to me , knowing that I'm left-handed, and he would set it up lefty for me. He said it was just too hard to play and no one wanted to buy it.
