Hello people!

I just got myself a nice 57 reissue stratocaster.. The stock pickups, especially the bridge one is not enough for me.
I want something more suitable for heavy metal, rock kinda stuff..

Things that i play are classic rock, iron maiden, some metallica, and just normal soloing over jammin tracks.

I have shortlisted a few : Dimarzio Tonezone S, Distortion S, Chopper. Seymour D Hotrails, JBjr,

I will keep the neck and middle ones. The neck pickup is very nice for blues, but if you have a nice upgrade that you would like to recommend , pls do so!

I am lookin at STACKED HB and RAILS only!. no full-size humbuckers as my pickguard cant accomodate it.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

I have played a Dimarzio rail in the bridge for about 6 years. Even though the one I used is more tailored for blues rock, it still does metal very well and is great for heavier classic rock songs (ala billy squire type sounds). It will give the kick you need for metal and rock in the strat and when it and the middle single coil are activated, a lighter springy sound is formed with a lot less mid but full body treb. and bass. In sort, I found it to make the start more versatile.

One of my Strats has Texas Specials in the neck and middle positions with a Duncan JB (SH4) in the bridge and it screams.

I just purchased the EMG-DG20 to swap out in my strat from time to time. I haven't dropped them in yet but plan to for a song I am recording later this week.
