Beautiful, and extravagant!
Personally, I think it looks disjointed, like the body and neck has two completely different themes. If there were as little as a single star on the body, it would have brought them together.

And that bright pink trem hole sticker needs to be replaced with something less jarring, or the fashion police needs to be called! :p

I agree. It looks like they designed the body and then got bored (or ran out of money) when it came to the neck. I think the neck should have had plant orientated inlays. Or is there some out of space theme going on here which I'm not seeing?

And it is stunning how much impact the trem sticker is having on the look of the guitar. :-)

Good guess, but no it is a guitar that the late John English built for himself; could be called " The Princess and the Frog" from the Fairy Tale.

I don't know the gentleman but if Mr. English were a guitar-playing pimp he'd certainly have the right instrument for the job.

I'd not heard of him although many of the names listed in the link come to mind when considering Masterbuiders

Love that Frog headstock, not a fan of the chrome body but the engraving craftsmanship is superb.

Chrome body: strong attack, weak sustain

The relief wood carving on the headstock (flower stems) is what is most impressive to me. Birdseye maple is not the easiest wood to carve fine details in, given the near constant change in grain directions.

Saw the for sale add and nearly bought it myself Alain ... only kidding.
Strange that it says 4 of 50 yet I have seen nothing similar though John English made a few aluminium strats.
Wonder if the stars connect the story since the frog had to spend the night with the princess but only conjecture on my part. No doubt it would have been well thought out so there will be a reason. Beautiful as mentioned in another post. :D

no, only #4 mentioned; it appears that there is no record of it at the FCS.
Hum... regarding the Princess only a kiss to the Frog was enough to transform it into a charming Prince...
:D
