Good afternoon,

I would like to ask for help, i'm quite concern about the authenticity of my Fender Vintage ´57 Stratocaster.

I was sure it is a original Fender, but couple of days ago i tried to sell it and one guy take out the carachter "R" of the Fender Logo just with the hand, i used to think the Logo was added before the finish of the guitar, so it will be under the "painture" or something like that.
Later I red that for this models (AV 57 ) the logo it's like a stick.
To check if it was original or not i made a picture of the neck so i can be sure. I guess it is but now i'm starting to have doubts.

Can you please confirm or help me to confirm my doubts about this guitar?

Sorry foy my english (not my mother language) and thank you for read this!

I see nothing at all amiss with your neck.

Looks fine from those photos.

The man who came to buy it obviously doesn't know what he is talking about, or is trying to pull a fast one, and doesn't deserve the guitar either way.

Retroverbial is saying your neck is OK for an AVRI '57.
For what it's worth, I agree.

Wait a minute ... this guy scraped the letter off your headstock?? How did they pry your hands off his neck so he could continue breathing after that?

Well, I don't know where in the world you are, mate, but over here that'd be criminal damage...

Cheers - Peter.
