Hi there....new here...hope I can get some info...bought a guitar years ago with this neck on it...was told it was a 71 neck...when I took the neck off the guitar....stamp was barely visible....could not make out what it said...from what I understand...the synchronized tremolo was discontinued after 70...and they started doing bullet truss rod adjustment in 71...does this make it.....maybe 69-70?.and the colour show in the pic is way lighter...its more amber i have no idea....any help would be appreciated...can supply more pics if needed...Thanks

At least I need mo pics.

Back of the whole neck, back of headstock, neck heel back/butt end, stamps close ups, in general every angle you can think of.

At the moment I don't even know if you have a 3 or 4 bolt neck, or does it have the skunk stripe...

The details seem generally consistent for a pre-'72 Strat neck. However, the string tree is seriously mislocated. Further investigation is needed to ascertain the bonafides.

My guess is that's a 68/69 neck. Two patent numbers, that logo ("With synchronized tremolo"), one string tree.

The string tree is more wrong than anything else I've seen, but just a little google pic searching shows that the single string tree could be located before, on or after the A string post level.

I've seen some variations in location but that one seems to be the most extreme of examples yet.

However, everything else does seem to confirm the origin of the neck as Fender.
