The string height = action on a FR is adjusted by the two screws on the pivot posts. If you can't go lower, there is a problem somewhere - but with this little info I won't start guessing.

I've tried everything I know, the screws are at the max. I'm going to take pictures closer later and post them here (at work right now).

I really think that guitar won't go lower in the action, but, I'm trying to get ideas on how I could make it work.

Thanks

All I know is I have never been able to solve that problem myself, but every guitar tech I've brought it to knows exactly what to do.

IMO, just spend the money on a good setup when this happens and maintain the guitar yourself the rest of the time.

I find these trems a PIA to deal with and in my younger days, managed to chip the paint on one of my guitars trying to do it myself. The Floyd Rose is a love/hate thing for me.

Yeah, same with me, love/hate relation, but I took the guitar to a guitar center (truth be told, I live in an island in the middle of the ocean called São Miguel part of a group of islands called Azores, it's part of Portugal, that only in my island and in one city that is the one where I'm from has 2 music stores/repair) and they didn't know what to do either :P

Oh wow, that's cool! I grew up on an island ... Long Island.

Your best option (if you can't fix it yourself) may be to ship it somewhere for repair. It would probably be expensive, but that's part of the charm of living on an island.

OK. Choose the angle so that we see the trem from the side, and its relation to the body. Mo' pics = better.

BTW, the town I live in is on a ~6x8 km island, too. Not Long and definitely not tropical.

What a coincidence, so did I; Great Britain. We do have a few guitar shops on our island though.

Have you tried searching YouTube? There seems to be videos on just about everything. Noting the apparent common issues of this piece of kit there may well be a set up video?
