Really?!?! It's like you have something to hide by not showing more.

Without pics of the entire body, bridge, backplate, and maybe even the routing of the body and the wiring/pups under the pick guard, positive identification is impossible.

Ok :) sorry, for lack of info / photos

More photos below - guitar seems to be turn Relic by somoeone. I got it as you can see below.
There was totally worn Fender logo on the neck no serial number on te neck plate.

As I worte earlier, neck was changed for new one - those are only photos of the original one.

Impossible to confirm either way at this point.

More pics are needed.

Can't say about the body but that neck is definitely phony.

From the few, obscure clues that I can see, it is (was) a Squier that was given a relic treatment. The pics of the neck, and the few details that I can see of the body, looks like many of the Indonesian Squiers that I have seen.

Again, every pic has the important details either darkened, (really? Black and white pic??) or otherwise obscured or just plain not shown. Why is that?

Compare some of the details from this 2003 model:

Thanks for that info.

Those are only pics of guitar before neck was changed  - one is B&W because this is the only photo of full neck.

Ok so it's probably some Squier with Fender logo added during "let say {Relic} treatment"

I appreciate that the day of relics has run it's course (if NAMM is anything to go by) but I do rather like a good relic.

However, that does have the look of a guitar which has been reliced, rather than an old guitar, which isn't really the idea. I am also not sure how the damage would have manifested its self in that way unless the guitar was used to annoy a recalcitrant wood pecker. And if you are going to relic something at least start with a six screw trem or hardtail.

So all this aside. As noted above, relicing is a good way to try to hide an illegitimate guitar.

Well I'm not happy that it's "reliced" - but I got this guitar from my brother so it's something more for me.

Beside all this that guitar have realy nice sounding pickups and new neck is feeling nicely.

Thanks for help guys.

The guitar has some personal history so enjoy it for what it is and don't waste time grousing about what it isn't.

Based only on the top picture, I would say "probably Japanese or Korean". The reason is the screw, which appears to have a straight cut like on Japanese + screws, and not a tapered cut like on Phillips head screws.

(And the neck doesn't even look like a Squier, but a fake. The truss rod hole is not on the $@!&# but too high up, which is a telltale sign for Chinese fakes, and for a 22 fret, it has too much space on the lip beyond the last fret. Chances are it won't intone very well, so good thing you changed it.)

I'm glad it plays well and that you have emotional attachment to it. That's ultimately what matters. When you one day buy the farm, your estate probably won't get much for it, so play it enough that it wears out with you.
