No, not Tom Petty.

Just a petty question: Why am I having such a hard time finding White Strat knobs (not Aged, not Parchment) regular White Strat knobs with black letters and numbers? All I see on all the popular sites is White (of various shades) with gold letters and numbers.
Does Fender (or anyone else) make White with Black numbers/letters knobs for the Start?

Fender has never used black to mark the numerical gradients on its Strat knobs -- hence they do not make such knobs. You'll have to resort to aftermarket imitations or imported knock-offs.

... or ink the markings with black ink. With acrylic ink, it's easy to wipe off the excess before it dries.

I'm not a big fan of the "gold" markings myself. They turn green, but not uniformly, so it looks like fungus/hygiene problem.

With Fender, never say never.

BMW-KTM; I was all over Amazon, and never came across those. Thank you!

Retroverbial; I had a feeling since I was having a hard time finding them that they'd most likely be generic. It does bug me slightly, because I like to keep everything genuine Fender.

arth1; I thought about inking them in...but I'd probably try to find a less shaky friend to do it...I feel like I'd screw it up. And, that IS a pretty cool knob in the pick...but not for the particular guitar I'm trying to dress up I'm afraid.

stratele52; the knobs in your link look like they have clear tops...no way, not for me. But I DID put your AllParts link in my favorites for further viewing, thank you.

I look at my guitar knobs and I see that you are very skilled for doing such a fine job. I would not be able to also have precision. Congrat !

That may possibly be because the link I posted is to Amazon Canada, not USA?
I find many differences in the listings between the two.

Don't know exactly your project BUT be careful with those one's :

" Metric Size, ideal for Asia made(China, Korea, Japan) 6mm diameter shaft import pots.
Not for inch size pots like Fender, CTS, Dimazio pots "

so it will depend of your pots ... or you could imagine to change them ?!

When I bought a parchment accessory set to change the cosmetics on my MIJ Strat 12-string, none of the US-spec parts fit correctly -- not the pickup covers, not the knobs, not the switch tip. The American parts were too damn big to fit the Japanese components.
