Greetings! I recently acquired a Strat in a trade. I have never seen one like this. Serial says 2013/14. (serial on back of headstock) MIM. Maple neck, H-S-S config, vintage style bridge and full size trem block.....front of headstock has 70's style Fender logo, and straight style "STRATOCASTER" It does not look like re-badging at all. I have not taken the neck off to look there, nor have I looked under the pickguard. (Hoping somebody will know this model) It plays and sounds incredible. I will post these pics and hope somebody has seen one like this.

Only about a few hundred times. It looks like a typical Standard HSS, made in Mexico, ceramic pups. The logo is the late 60s style, typical on the newer MIM Strats for the last few years.

It is a gorgeous guitar, certainly a very good guitar, but nothing unusual at all.

Seem's like a LOT of people come to these forums, register as a member, ask "Is this real", "Can you identify", "What is this", "What's it worth"...and then NEVER come back and acknowledge any of the answers that these knowledgeable members take the time to put out there.
What is up with that?

Absolutely. We are all here just to provide a free verification service. Didn't you know? </irony>

What bugs me is not giving enough info, lack of pics etc.
The detective part I enjoy, plus I usually learn something myself. Don't need no thanks, but a conlusion would be nice to know. Like, I wonder what happened with this one, it's been hanging on that 'firm 1000$' for a month now, I guessed it would come down to 800ish: AmDlx 2007

I'm with you 100% on that. I have no issue with playing "Spot the fake" and rather enjoy it. We have to have something to do on the forum otherwise what would be the point? And, as you have pointed out, there is much to learn and appreciate from the experience of others.

It is just the complete lack of courtesy from some who avail themselves of a significant knowledge base and then go on their way without telling you the end result. It's a bit like doing a quiz but not being told the answers at the end.
