Easy question... 1979 Gibson Les Paul KM - tobacco sunburst

The KMs were a short lived limited edition of guitars that were handcrafted in the old Kalamazoo plant, instead of their main volume factory that most Les Pauls came out of. They were so sweet, but I did not have the $750 to buy a new one back then. Now I reeeeeeeally can't afford one. Ahhh, that guitar still calls for me...

Oooops -- what this supposed to be a Fender answer???

dude, that has to be the sweetest guitar.

I would love a 70's hollow body starcaster, or a remake with the original magnets in the pups.

for me right now what i want and cant afford is this=
http://teye-guitars.com/teye-guitars/a-series-guitars/

also i want a d'pergo or a detemple strat. or early to mid 70's sunburst/rosewod strat thats light and sounds good. but truthfully if would be like a extremely expensive guitar like a '59 burst or early strat or something but i know there's no way for me to ever have that so i dont even bother wanting it!!

I'd really like to have a Rory Gallagher signature strat.

Well, I have my EJ and I never expected it to be so amazing... I just wanted the quartersawn neck and ended up with the finest strat I have played and heard... It is 2 tone sunburst...

I would love a White Blonde one....

A 1976 Bicentennial Gibson Firebird, Natural Mohogany finish... I had one when I was 16 years old and sold it when I went into the Navy at 19 years of age.
I sold it to my best friend for 300 bucks - I figured I didn't need it on an Aircraft Carrier-
He said he would never sell it unless he sold it back to me one day...
He had it six months and sold it for $850...

Great guitar! Now they go for about $3k on ebay...

I'll get another one... or not.... I am really happy with my EJ Strat right now!

Hey Stratheads-

I am currently saving for a SRV # 1 Strat. It is the best feeling, best sounding Strat I have ever had the pleasure of playing. It should take me about 2 years to save up for it (I have a wife and 4 kids)- But someday it will be mine and the first thing I am going to do it switch out the pick guard- Gigging with a big "SRV" on your strat is guitar player suicide.

I have an SRV strat, and I only play it @ home because of that same fear of ridicule... I should change the pickguard too.

But, what a great guitar! ...it stays in my room next to an old Music Man HD115, which is kinda like a Vibroverb sound with that 15" speaker.

See your point about gigging with the SRV pick guard. I am in the same boat as you are about saving for my next Fender.
