I wrote earlier on this thread about saving up for my new dream guitar a '57 reissue but this is the one I want and cant afford. It's called Dire Wolf and it's an Alembic based on Jerry Garcia's main guitar throughout the '70sImage

David Gilmour NOS..

Maton acoustic.

Also a Gibson LP '57 RI Black Beauty would be rather nice if I had a spare $6k, though I'm definitely going to get the Epiphone Les Paul Ultra II once I've saved for it.

I certainly wouldn't mind owning a Steve Jones Signature Les Paul Custom (it's so gritty, it just oozes punk rock).

My dream guitar is a modified Strat with Seymour Duncan Rail Series pickups (Hot Rails in the Bridge, Vintage Rails in the middle, Cool Rails in the neck), with a maple fretboard, "V" shape neck, and a faded 2-tone Sunburst finish with a turtle shell pickguard. I also wouldn't mind having the fretboard and neck tinted a little to match the finish better. I would also install one of those new Joe Satriani Tremolo systems that have the thicker hollowed out bar.

Larry Carlton signature ES-335, or a Claptonesque red ES-335.

Out of the Fender Line, the new Davis Gilmore collector's guitar. While I am dreaming, how about Dav's actual Black Strat.

Overall, I would like to get a Gibson Les Paul with the same EMG's as Zak Wilde (he can keep the paint job).

Also a 50's Gretsch Jet Firebird would be nice.

I'd go with the Haggard Tele too, but my second choice would be a mint late 60s/early 70s Guild Starfire III. (I'd settle for a IV.)

Times are hard guys!!!!

I'd love the really cute Squier Duosonic - And I'm a bit short for that!

Come to think of it....I can't afford the Dano Fab chorus I want!

Don't get married kids! Stay single and buy guitars!!!
