Presently, on Ebay, an '89 guitar in pewter finish is being offered. There's a photo of the back of the neck you must have a look at. You can see how pronounced the taper is. That was the original concept and I believe it has been modified from that. A '98 'generation one' just sold, and I do not believe the neck had the same degree of taper as its predecessor.

Just checked it out. It's beautiful and just exactly what I wanted -- even the non-stock pearloid pickguard -- but I've got a lot of big expenses at the moment. :cry:
