I'd like to give this a try and see how it feels compared to others.

Fender's service manual for the American Professionals shows a 1st fret depth of .820" and a 12th fret dept of .920" - that compares to the American Elite spec of .820" 1st/.890" 12th and The Edge Strat's spec (which is supposed to be the same as the outgoing American Standard) of .820" 1st/.870" 12th.

I've played one (actually played the same one twice now over the past 2 weekends) it is definitely a fuller shape - I would call this one a very full C, and you can feel it has more taper than the average American Standard. It's not a U, but it is fuller than any other Fender C shape I've ever played (including the AV '65 Strat).

That one in the OP link is giving me gas!
:D
"The new modern “Deep C”-shaped neck profile feels just right in your hand while the narrow-tall frets make it easy to bend strings accurately and play perfectly intonated chords".

The last part of that sentence is patently false. Unless you put six identical gauge strings on the guitar, the length is always going to differ, and no chord can be perfectly intonated as long as all the frets don't move proportionally when you adjust an intonation screw.
There are special fret placements that try to get around that, like the below, but it's not perfect either, and you lose the "easy to bend strings".

Sorry, not sure what you mean by "Pro Strat"? If you're talking about the old USA Professional Strats that were made for Guitar Center/Musician's Friend/Andertons (in the UK) then they never posted anything for them since those were FSR models.

If you mean the new American Professional Strats, here is the link to the service manual for the SSS model:

That's the one, many thanks.
The distinction between "USA" and "American" for the 2 models is probably going to cause a lot of confusion in the future.
The USA Pro was also available from Thomann in Germany.
