Alright, so the guitar is older than I am, lol. I dont know a few minor details that bug me.
1. Mine has the H/S/S setup and the humbucker is a Dimarzio Fred, is that stock or did a previous owner replace it?
2 the switch for the humbucker to go between single coil and humbucking mode, which way is which, it is not marked.
3 Mine is American made, and I payed $400 for it, what is it worth do u think?
4 the volume knob has the numbers paineted on white, the 2 tone knobs are just black molded plastic no paint. I'm thinking that is stock, but idk.

hi GuitarSupremecy,
1) No not stock, someone put a dimarzio Fred Humbucker in the bridge.
2) Try 'tapping on the pickup right on the poles with ur pick then switch the switch see if u hear it tapping in your speaker. (u might have to turn it up with maybe some distorion) u should be able to tell if the humbucker is working or just the single.
3) sounds like it could be worth that much. What year is this strat? Can we see a photo?
4) The black knobs are not stock... I am guessing , but probably not.

The DiMarzio Super Distortion PU was the stock humbucker in the HM series Strat, as far as I know, with either DiMarzio or Fender single coils(not sure). The toggle switch was a coil tap, and you should be able to tell the tapped position by a little less output, and a thinner sound. I will post a photo of my HM Strat so you can seed the stock knobs. They have a molded F in the middle of the knob, as opposed to Vol or Tone printed there. They also have a rubber grip strip around the knob.
I have found my 1990 USA HM to be one of my favorite guitars, as far as playability and sound. Granted, mine is loaded with EMG electronics, so it is not stock. The only thing I don't really care for is the hot pink paint. Oh well, I only paid $212 for mine, and it is in good condition. It was worth twice as much, and I would buy another one in the future.
