Why does my bridge tonecontrol "snap in" when I turn it to 10. I Have a 2008 Fender American standard straticaster. What does this do?

is it a deltatone tone pot. if so the snap in effect on 10 bypasses the tone control so its like having the pickup wired straight from the volume pot to the jack. Increases the treble of the bridge and middle pickups on 10.

That's a No-load pot. On 10, it "bypasses" iitself from within the circuit.
