I am trying to identify my fender. I have been to 3 experts and all 3 can not identify. All they tell me is it is rare and place the value at a minimum of $2,000. The serial number is odd, I tried to look it up with no luck. Can anybody help?

So they have no idea what it is and yet still value it a $2K+ ?

Did these experts give any indication of what they thought it might be? An age perhaps?

Tomkat, I'm pickin' up what you're throwin' down.
Those are some really beautiful telepathic images.

I'd say $2K is a little low but if you need the money in a hurry then by all means, go for the quick sale.

Nonsense, Matt!

That guitar is worth a king's ransom and not a farthing less.

While I would normally agree with you, I don't think that is necessarily the best colour and might impact on the price as a result.

But B.B., Albert and Freddie were all Gibson players!

A Queen's ransom, perhaps - at least they used Telecasters.

The OP appears to be having problems posting images, and without images the thread is pretty pointless
This will help viewtopic.php?f=2&t=52777
