According to the Fender date finder it was made at the Fuji -Gen factory in japan 1996-1997
which doesn't tally with the 2005 date stamps

There are many " V " series over years, not easy to date

Another one;

V + 5 or 6 digits (American Vintage Series except ’52 Telecaster, which uses a five-digit number stamped into the bridge plate)
XN6 + 4 digits 2006

But there are no any info about 2006 American vintage 54, only wildwood thin skin vintage 54 video. but wildwood SN is not "V+digits".

Fender vintage 54 is less, info less too. There are so bad!

Thanks for your help

I check the American SN Show me this:

This guitar is from the U.S. Vintage Series
made at the Corona Plant (Fender)
in Cannot be determined from serial number
Production Number: 150372

Check in Japan option show yours

But the neck stamp date not like a modify after out of factory

Search Yuri Hanks no any useful info

I will still search this Guitar info

I check make in USA SN data, is show me have the info, but no date
I think sn cannot help direct to identify this Guitar.

the stamp is 2005, Google only find the Wildwood thin skin 2006, But SN not a "V+digit"

Google there most are 2014 60th limited vintage

Another one is Wildwood 2006 thin skin vintage 54

This instrument is definitely not a MIJ or CIJ guitar. The giveaway is the location of the string tree. Fuji-Gen got that detail right (ironically) while Corona was still mis-locating it too high up on the headstock, as with this Strat. As well, the names, date stamps, and production codes found in the neck pocket belie any possibility of Japanese origin. There is no reference whatsoever to this model in the 2005 Frontline catalog which leads me to believe it was a special (FSR) edition for some major retailer -- Sam Ash, Sweetwater, Wildwood, etc. It looks like a very well-built guitar. Lose no sleep over its pedigree and merely enjoy it.

+1, not in the bluebook or Gruhn's either

Its a fine looking guitar indeed and most likely an FSR. The vintage re-issue series doesn't include a 1954 model, only the anniversary series does. The V serial number is the confusing issue in my eyes.
I would hold on to any documentation you may have indefinitely.

The neck is from a '57 AVRI, the rest is probably the same.
