I use Schaller strap locks.

What you also can do is to take the rubber rings from a beer bottle with bow locks, put first the strap on and than the rubber rings. It works for low money.

Cheers :D

Are the schallers the ones that slide onto the strat pin?

I am guessing like the Grolsch green bottles with the tilting porcelain top with the red rubber washer ring. http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/1/15259/20_2007/grolsch.preview.jpg

I use the Dunlop straploks myself. Here's the info at Musician's Friend, although you can get them on eBay for less:

But a lot of people swear by the Schallers as well. I've never used that brand.

Neither one has ever failed me. But, Iprefer Dunlops because the screw goes so much further into the wood. Schallers tend to loosen themselves over time but the Dunlops are there forever it seems

I use the Dunlops. I tried the Schallers, but had issues trying to get it work with a Fender Deluxe Wide Leather Strap. The part that goes on the strap was too short - the strap is very thick. I switched to the Dunlops and have not had any issues with them.

And you can still use normal straps with the Dunlops on the guitar.

I'm happy.

I just bought strap locks for the first time. I chose Dunlop Straploks. For what it's worth, I think the Schallers look better.

I don't use them.

I wouldn't go without them unless playing in my bedroom at home or somthing.
But for even practicing with the band, I kinda consider them necessary.
