I suggest you to look at Mini-humbuckers...
They are the same size as single coils but they are actually humbuckers.
The strat below has all humbuckers in it. Not one of those pickups is a single coil as an example.

This is the humbucker I have in the bridge of my 93 american strat that is only routed for single coils.

High output single-coil-size "rails" humbucker. Great for everything from heavy blues to heavy metal.

Yeah bss is right if you're after the look of three single coils, but I'm a metalhead so I always use humbuckers. I can tell ya that the Seymour Duncan 59'er is probably one of the best sounding humbuckers ever put on the market if you're looking for a fat, thick tone. I've had them in several of my axes in the neck position for years. I've played EMG's, Dimarzios, Duncans, ect. and I always come back to the Seymour Duncans for their completely amazing tone. I just installed a Duncan Distortion in my newest strat and it gave it such an awesome growl that it's even harder to put it down now. If you're after looks, then go with what bss mentioned. If you're after tone, then go with the Duncan 59'er for a nice thick whallop! Hope this helps brother! :D
