John could that be a position thing?
I find similar when I play sat on the sofa. With my left hand holding the neck up. Nearly classical style.

Horseshit!

Jimi Hendrix didn't have any problems and all of his Strats featured a 7.25" radius.

Fist time I read that. You must be a very very good guitar player.
or
Like some guy write they do not see difference between Squier and American Standard

Sprry, but one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Radius, string gauge, bridge shape... A good player can get used to anything.

Instrument quality is another talk.

This is true. However for many guitarists transitioning from a Gibson (or other brand of instrument with a flatter board) the 9.5" radius of most modern Fenders usually feels more familiar and comfortable to them. But of course this is not the focus of this thread......

I notice string spacing way more than I notice fretboard radius.
54mm is ok for plectrum use. If I have to play with my fingers though I need the 56mm of a synchronised bridge. I'm rubbish picking with my fingers on a Gibson.

Although I was trained as a classical guitarist to begin with, I don't feel comfortable fingering steel strings. Never did. I don't even let my fingernails grow.

To me, electric guitar: pick.

Nylon strung acoustic: classical fingerstyle.

As a matter of fact, even watching Mark Knopfler or Robbie Krieger fingering electrics gives me goosebumps. I like their stuff but I could never play that way.

Really you got to play all three. Don't worry about things you've heard about radius, etc. Play em and see which one is the most comfortable for you and has the tone you're after.

Of the three guitars listed I think the 50s Classic Series is probable your best bet and is probably of the best overall quality. The fit, finish and setup on my 50s Classic is easily on par with the MIA Standards and for a lot less money.

It might have something to do with technique, and what you are used to. If you are used to a 9.5" or more radius, switching to a 7.25" radius can seem more difficult for string bending. You definitely have to have the action a bit higher with a 7.25" radius as compared to a 9.5", to prevent choking/buzzing when bending, no way around that, but when setup properly, a 7.25" can play very well.

A v-shape hurts my hand, but if it feels like something you can get used to, go for the Classic 50s. I love that blue.

I voted for the ash. Although I prefer Daphne Blue on anything..., I really like the idea of the ash Strat, and it looks great too.

Without playing and/or hearing them, I'd choose the FSR (w/Ash body).
Looks like my 2015 Deluxe Roadhouse (minus the 70's headstock and double string tree's). I swapped the pick guard on my Roadhouse (Aged Pearloid) with my 2015 Candy Apple Red Standard (White)---and both look fantastic.

That 2010 Deluxe Roadhouse DOES intrigue me though. Nothing like mine. What does it have for pickup's?

And the 50's would not even be a consideration for me. I am so used to 9.5 radius on 'C' neck...I have, can, and do play on 12 inch and compound (though not as well)...however, I have found going smaller and with anything but 'C', I am uncomfortable to the point of "searching" instead of "feeling" my play.

I can love playing like em, just not as good, I'm good with a pick but the feeling isn't right, also depends what song is played.

:| thanks folks... but I still cannot decide! :x I tried again the 50s but the soft V neck is a bit bugging me... it just goes to my palm and feel that 'sharp' hump , feels unnatural to me. I REALLY like the Daphne Bluecolor but the neck is a dealbraker...

I'm torn with LOOKS vs. FEELs.....

Now I'm also looking at the 2nd hand stuffs below that really looks nice in the eyes! What do you guys think?

Fender Squire 60th Anniversary with TexMex pickups

Fender Stratocaster MIM Diamond Jubilee
Seller said that it was originally marble off-white colour, but now goldish due to natural ageing... looks awesome.
