I wrote a post on here not to long ago about a MIJ strat that my brother found at a yard sale and gave me. It was in rough shape when I got it so, I replaced the strings disassembled cleaned and reassembled to whole guitar and set the action and intonation. I cant put this guitar down It feels perfect. I just bought a 2008 Highway One Strat and have played maybe twice since I got the MIJ one day before my highway one arrived. I am however having a hard time finding info on my MIJ the specs are as follows. Slim neck not sure much about it but, thinner and better feeling than my highway one. Kahler locking nut and Floyd rose by kahler bridge and emg single coil pickups. It also has the small headstock with Gotoh tuners on it. Im pretty sure that it was built in 1989/90. Anyway I love this axe and am looking for another to see if It compares to this one. Ill try to post pics soon.

Ditto for me on the Highway One.I was at GC earlier today and took the '62 & Brand new American Standard for a test drive and none of them hold a candle to my '02 Highway 1 neck. I just love that guitar.

Does the MIJ Strat have 24 fret finger board? I was wondering if it was a H.M. series Strat?

No it has a 21 fret neck. Ive heard that on the heel of a $@! strat it will have a stamp of what model it is. I dont know any truth about that. I had the guitar apart and didnt see anything like that. I would love to know the profile so, that I can get a neck for my highway one like the MIJs.
